Frequently asked questions
How are my yamo products delivered?
As a German customer, you will receive your yamo package on the day of your choice between Tuesday and Saturday. Your products will be sent in a cardboard box with a reusable insulated bag and cooling pads by DHL or DPD (depending on the region). The delivery time depends on where you live, but is usually between 8am and 6pm. If you are not at home at short notice, you can easily issue a drop-off authorisation via the tracking link. The tracking link will be sent to you by e-mail the day before delivery. Note: in case your products arrive a day later, please check if the cooling pads still contain a frozen core and if the products feel cool to the touch. If this is not the case, please write to us at: email@example.com and attach a picture of the package.
What is the shelf life of yamo products?
Our products always have a shelf life of at least one month, often even longer. It is important that our cold-pressed products (pouches, baby meals and yamoghurts) are always sufficiently cooled in a refrigerator. You can find the exact best-before date on the packaging. Our other products for kids can be kept for several months without refrigeration. You'll find the exact best-before date on the packaging as well.
Which payment methods can I use?
At the moment you can use the following payment methods: - Credit card (Visa, Mastercard) - Paypal - invoice For one-time deliveries you can also pay with Twint.
I am not at home on the day of delivery. What now?
Your package will be delivered to you with Primetime. For tracking purposes, you will receive an email from yamo with the tracking code the day before your delivery. Unfortunately, we can't tell you exactly what time your package will be delivered. However, we have arranged a drop-off permit for you, so that the delivery will be deposited 'at your doorstep' if you are not at home. As our baby food is delivered with cooling pads, the cold chain is not interrupted.
What is important to yamo during production?
We follow a holistic philosophy of quality and sustainability. We only use fresh, untreated organic raw materials and source them regionally whenever possible. We process these raw materials as gently as possible and do not use any additives (according to the law). Just like you, we are only satisfied with the best for your child. ✔️ 100% natural and, if possible, regionally sourced ingredients. ✔️ environmentally friendly and safe packaging ✔️ no added sugar ✔️ no additives ✔️ comprehensive quality and sustainability philosophy
Why are organically grown raw materials better for my child than conventional ones?
Conventional raw materials use pesticides and herbicides that can harm your child. With organically grown vegetables and fruits, the use of these substances is prohibited and this ban is strictly controlled. That's why we only use organic raw materials for our yamo products.
Who develops your recipes?
We consistently develop our recipes together with parents, nutritionists, daycare centres and paediatricians. Before we let our products go out into the big, wide world, they are extensively tested by our most important experts: children and their parents.
